The Flanagan Collective & Gobbledigook Theatre Present - EURYDICE. The other side to the Orpheus myth, an untold story retold for the modern day. Wound from spoken word and live electronica.

EURYDICE is a sister show to ORPHEUS, the myth told from her perspective. Fancy seeing both or having a re-cap of Orpheus? Come along on Friday 18th or Saturday 19th for a Double Bill - Orpheus will start at 7.30 pm followed by Eurydice at 9.00 pm.

Leni is 5 years old, holding a superman costume. Eurydice is about to walk in to the first day of the rest of her life. A story about being a daily super hero and not giving in to the stories we tell our-selves.

EURYDICE premiered at Adelaide Fringe in 2019, where it went on to win Best Theatre at the festival. Since then the show has toured to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and run Off Broadway in New York.

ORPHEUS

Dave is about to turn 30, sat at the bar. Eurydice is a tree nymph, a demigod. And Bruce Spring-steen is on the stereo.

An internationally award winning retelling of the ancient Greek myth between side streets, dive bars, karaoke joints and ancient gods. Woven from searing spoken word and soaring live acoustic soul music, ORPHEUS is a story about falling in love and how far you’d go.

ORPHEUS has toured across the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Bali, as well playing Off Broad-way in New York - racking up over 300 shows across the world.
