Band workshop for young people
Are you aged between 10 – 16 years?
Would you like to play a musical instrument – and play great music as part of a group?
Join our YouthSayers band workshop, designed to engage young people in exciting music and ensemble work. Using Jazz, Afrobeat and Reggae as a basis for learning, we are creating opportunities for young people (10-16 years) with a keen interest in music performance and ensemble playing.
We aim to support the young people we work as they grow as people, and help them maintain a positive outlook to tackle the challenges that life presents.
Suitable for ages 10 – 16
Ability level: Beginners and all stages welcome
Date: Saturday 21st October 2023
Time: 12pm - 1.30pm
Duration: 1.5 hours
Age Guidance: 10-16 years old
